Los Angeles, December 2022
I recently took a trip to Los Angeles, and it always feels like coming home for me. I grew up in the city, and I think one of the reasons it feels so familiar and comforting is the diversity of people and cultures that can be found here. No matter where you go, you'll find a vibrant community of people with all sorts of backgrounds and experiences.
We saw a comedy show with Anthony Jeselnik with a drop in by Marc Maron, visited the Los Angeles County Art Museum, indulged in some delicious hot dogs at Pinks, and saw a movie at the New Beverly Cinema. The cinema is owned by Quinton Tarantino and is known for its unique selection of films, so I was excited to check it out. Each experience was unique and exciting in its own way, and I was constantly amazed by the variety of things to do in the city.
Despite all the changes that Los Angeles has undergone over the years, it still feels like home to me, and I can't wait to go back.
